Greg E. Schecher - Managing Director
Mr. Schecher is a twenty-five year veteran of the commercial real estate investment sales and financing business participating as a lender, a mortgage banker and principal. ·Mr. Schecher closed in excess of 200 debt and equity transactions during his career. ·He has experienced two previous capital market disruptions; successfully navigated the 1990 commercial real estate recession. ·During that time, he founded two successful commercial mortgage finance companies, Westminster Capital, a CMBS lender, and Bankers Capital Group, a CMBS consortium. ·Mr. Schecher was an early participant in underwriting and structuring hundreds of CMBS loans. ·Mr. Schecher has lectured on the subject of CMBS financing and has authored numerous articles and editorials concerning mortgage lending and commercial real estate.
Robert Giesen - Partner
Mr. Giesen is a partner with the law firm of Giesen | Kenny, P.A. with offices based in Boca Raton and Tampa, Florida. Mr. Giesen has been practicing law in the real estate and hospitality areas for over 30 years. ·He graduated from Fordham Law School in 1977 with honors and was a member of the Law Review. ·Mr. Giesen has been associated with the prestigious New York law firm of Dewey Ballantine and other distinguished firms prior to forming Giesen | Kenny and has significant experience in the representation of both borrowers and lenders. ·He graduated from Georgetown University, cum laude, in 1974. ·He is a member of the Urban Land Institute and is admitted to practice law in Florida, New York and New Jersey.
Michael Barasch - Partner
Mr. Barasch brings 25 years of business management and structured finance experience to Lexington. ·Born in New York City, he spent over 20 years on Wall Street, and then relocated to Palm Beach, Florida, where he now lives with his wife and two children. ·After spending time in the commercial real estate department at Smith Barney, Mr. Barasch co-founded and operated a financial services technology firm which was acquired by a public company in 2000. ·Over the past ten years, he has been raising capital for multiple high profile projects in Florida and the Northeast. ·He has also been responsible for the operations of several of the real estate ventures funded, including hospitality, commercial, and multifamily portfolio’s valued at over $900MM. He is currently executing multiple workouts including loan modifications, joint ventures, and capital raises. ·Mr. Barasch graduated Fairfield University in 1984with a BA in business and economics.
Rebecca Manley - Senior Associate
Rebecca is responsible for underwriting, analyzing and structuring debt, equity, acquisition, disposition, and joint venture assignments for all property types. ·In addition, Rebecca assists and supports the borrower in all aspects of the CBA process. Rebecca brings an analytical, marketing and financial analysis skill set from her past experience at Johnson Capital, a national mortgage banker. ·Her training allows her to add value to each project. ·Rebecca holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Finance from Western Governor’s University. ·Rebecca began her career as a teacher of Biology and Physics.
